Product Description

Made of rolled or forged AISI4145H chromium-molybdenum bonded steel, the chemical composition and the content of trace elements are effectively controlled.

According to the shape and material of the drill collar, it is divided into three forms:

Type A (cylindrical): It is made of ordinary alloy steel, and the cross section of the pipe body is round drill collars both inside and outside.

Type B (spiral): It is a drill collar made of ordinary alloy steel and has a spiral groove on the surface of the pipe.​​

Type C (non-magnetic type): It is made of stainless alloy steel with very low magnetic permeability, and the cross-section of the pipe body is round drill collar inside and outside.

Main Application

One of the more important components of the drill string, it has the function of providing drilling pressure to the drill bit and improving the rigidity of the drill string.

This product is manufactured according to SY/T5144-1997 standard or according to API SPEC.7-1.
