High efficiency phenolic halogen free flame retardant curing agent
1. general description
TZ-1030 is a two-functional, high phosphorus content, low
viscosity, two-functional phenolic hydroxyl reactive, halogen-free
epoxy resin flame retardant curing agent.
reacts with phenolic hydroxyl group, crosslinks with epoxy group
equivalently, and forms an integral part with epoxy resin curing
material. It effectively improves the mechanical properties, water
resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, heat resistance,
electrical properties and flame retardancy of epoxy resin curing
material. It has added organophosphorus flame retardants (such as
phosphate) and salts. Flame retardants (such as ammonium
polyphosphate, etc.), monomer phosphorus and metal hydroxides (such
as magnesium hydroxide, aluminium hydroxide) have incomparable
technological and performance advantages.
1030 is a bifunctional phenolic compound. If other curing agents
are bifunctional in use, it is recommended that customers add a
certain amount of multifunctional curing agents according to their
1030 has good compatibility and compatibility with epoxy resin,
phenolic resin, diluent, curing agent and organic additives as well
as solvents. It has good compatibility with silicon powder, calcium
carbonate, talc powder, graphite, aluminium hydroxide, magnesium
hydroxide, carbon fiber, glass fiber and other inorganic fillers
and reinforcing materials. Good soakage.
2. scope of application
Composite materials: carbon fiber composites, glass fiber
Electronic materials: copper clad laminate, plastic sealing
material and other electronic components, electronic insulation
Electrical insulating materials: powder package, varnish, socket,
1030 can be used as curing agent of epoxy resin alone or with amine
curing agent such as phenolic resin, dicyandiamide, aromatic amine
or other curing agent of epoxy resin.
The fillers and additives commonly used in epoxy resin curing
system are also suitable for the epoxy resin system using 1030
flame retardant curing agent.
The common curing accelerators such as tertiary amine, quaternary
amine salt, imidazole, triphenylphosphorus and their derivatives
are suitable for this system.
When 1030 is used as flame retardant curing agent, it is suggested
that 1030 be used at medium and high temperature in order to
achieve complete curing results.
In order to reach the flame retardant grade of V-0, the phosphorus
content is 2 to 2.5% of the organic content in the system.
Customers are advised to select 1030 on the basis of experiments.

Note 1: Total halogens, heavy metals and regulation of specific
